Jeannine Jung arbeitete bis 2010 als Biologielaborantin in der Pharmazeutischen Chemie der Universität des Saarlandes. Ihre anschließenden Tätigkeiten am HIPS befassen sich mit der biologischen Testung neu synthetisierter Substanzen z.B. an Zellkulturen, an verschiedenen Bakterienstämmen und an Enzymen.
