Alfred studied chemistry at the Technical University of Dresden. He completed his bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 2022. Since his Master's thesis in 2024, he has been working in the field of molecular biology with a focus on cloning and heterologous expression. Since April 2025 he is a PhD student in the research group of Prof. Tobias Gulder.
