Dr Emre F. Bülbül

About

Emre F. Bülbül is a postdoctoral researcher in Synthetic Biology of Microbial Natural Products in the laboratory of Dr. Kenan Bozhüyük at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS). Before joining HIPS, he gained experience as a Postdoc in computational peptide design and computational protein engineering in the Biochemistry Department at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. He holds a PhD in computer-aided drug design techniques from the Medicinal Chemistry department at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Germany and a master degree in the synthesis of small molecules from the Pharmaceutical Chemistry department at Eskisehir Anadolu University in Turkey. His bachelor degree is in Pharmacy. His research focuses on developing novel compounds using computer aided drug design techniques, as well  as medicinal chemistry and biosynthesis techniques.
