Lisa Göbner studied chemistry and biochemistry at the Technical University of Dresden and completed her final Bachelor and Master’s theses in the field of cloning and heterologous expression in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Currently, she is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Gulder at the Technical University of Dresden and the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland in Saarbrücken, Germany. She is interested in specialized metabolites originating from the gut microbiome and their potential impact on inflammatory bowel disease and other intestinal and extra-intestinal diseases.
