Lisa Marie Denig
About
Lisa completed her Bachelor's degree in Biosciences at the TU Kaiserslautern, subsequently pursuing a Master's degree in Microbiology at the Rheinische Friedrichs-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn. During her master's, she investigated the role of a bacteriophytochrome in Pseudomonas aeruginosa as a temperature sensor. Since 2020, she has been working in the research group of Prof. Alexander Titz, where she began her PhD in 2021. As part of her PhD project, Lisa is analysing the role of lectins in biofilm formation of P. aeruginosa, and is also working on the evaluation of new biofilm inhibitors.
